Pet listing policy
The rules for listing animals on SleekClassified.
Required accuracy
Pet listings must include accurate species, breed, age, gender and health information. Vaccination status and date must be truthful and, where known, supported by records. Photos must be real and recent. Location must be accurate so buyers know how far they are travelling.
No misrepresentation
Do not describe crossbreeds as purebred, exaggerated sizes, or unverified health status. Do not claim vaccinations or vet checks that did not happen, or invent pedigree papers.
Prohibited with animals
Animal cruelty, animal fighting, illegal wildlife, protected species, and animals whose trade is unlawful in your region are prohibited. No listings for dangerous or abusive activities, and no unsupported medical claims about a pet's condition or treatment.
Responsible ownership information
Where possible, include information on care needs, temperament and whether the animal is suitable for families or other pets. This supports responsible rehoming.
Enforcement
Pet listings that violate this policy are removed. Serious violations — cruelty, illegal trade — are reported to the relevant authorities and lead to account termination.
