Our commitment
SleekClassified takes animal welfare seriously. Animal listings are held to standards that support responsible ownership, truthful information and lawful trade. We cooperate with authorities on illegal animal trade.
Responsible ownership
Buyers should be ready to provide for the animal's full life — time, space, money and veterinary care. Sellers should only rehome animals to suitable homes.
Accurate animal information
Age, breed, gender, health, vaccination and microchip information must be truthful. Misrepresenting an animal's health to make a sale is a violation and can be a welfare issue.
Welfare concerns
We act on reports of cruelty, neglect, unsafe keeping or illegal trade. We review welfare reports with priority and remove violating content.
Reporting suspected abuse
If you suspect an animal is being abused or neglected, report it through the report button or the Animal welfare contact form. In urgent situations, contact the local authorities or animal welfare body directly.
Reporting illegal animal trade
Protected species and illegal trade should be reported. Include locations, dates and any evidence. We share serious cases with the relevant authorities.
Safe adoption
Adoption listings should follow our Adoption policy: honest screening, accurate information, and a genuine commitment to the animal's welfare.

Our guidance on animal health is informational. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary care, and we never present ourselves as a veterinary provider.
