Safety center
Simple habits that keep every trade safe — for buyers, sellers and your account.
Buyer safety
Meet in a busy, well-lit public place, and bring a friend for high-value items. Inspect the item carefully and test anything electronic before you pay. Avoid sellers who push deposits, gift cards, wire transfers or advance payment. Never share your password, OTP codes or bank details with anyone. Verify the seller where you can — a profile with history, reviews and a real photo is a good sign.
Seller safety
Check the buyer's profile and message history before arranging a handover. Avoid clicking payment links sent to you; use escrow or secure payment methods where they are offered. Do not share sensitive account information, and never let anyone "verify" your account by sharing a code.
Account safety
Use a strong, unique password and, where available, two-factor authentication. Never share OTP or verification codes with anyone — including people who claim to be staff. Review your account activity in the dashboard regularly. Log out on shared devices.
Common scams to watch for
Fake payment screenshots — money that never arrives. Overpayment scams — a buyer "accidentally" overpays and asks for a refund. Fake courier scams — an invoice for delivery that does not exist. Phishing links — messages that ask you to log in to a lookalike page. Fake verification requests — anyone who asks for an OTP or password "to confirm you". Advance-payment fraud — paying a deposit for an item, pet or rental that never appears.
